"Like a Dog: A Look at Selective Compassion" is community art show at the Beatnik in Joshua Tree, CA, that takes a look at compassion: how to awaken ours, and why we sometimes have compassion for some humans and other animals and not for others.
Opening Reception: May 9, 2026, 6-9 PM,
with speakers, music, poetry and more at 7 pm. Light refreshments provided.
